2nd Round trends and stats are hard to get a hold of but we will do our best to provide our visitors with information that you can take into consideration when making your 2nd Round March Madness predictions and picks, whether it be for betting or office pools.

-Of the 35 14th and 15th seeded teams that have won in the first round only five have gone on to also win in the second round. It is highly unlikely that any team seeded higher then 13th will advance from the second round.

It is probably safe to predict that all number one seeds will advance from the second round again this year. Over the past 3 years it is averaging that about one number two or three seeded team will be upset by the second round. And if you want to take a longshot the 12th seeds have been lucky in the past three years making it to the Sweet 16.
